Oh what a wonderful Sunday by the Waterfront in West Palm Beach where the Harmony, An Exhibition of the Arts, event drew an enormous crowd to enjoy an unprecedented performance by the Palm Beach Symphony and Ballet Palm Beach. The free, two-hour outdoor show presented by the West Palm Beach Arts & Entertainment District, brought together two world-class performing arts institutions for one entertaining afternoon set along our stunning waterfront.
Ballet Palm Beach presented the world premiere of Gatsby, a new ballet based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s famous novel. Palm Beach Symphony presented an exciting and powerful program including Georges Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1. The two also joined forces and performed Peter and the Wolf featuring Prokofiev’s classic score. The harmonious afternoon was be led by guest conductor, Nir Kabaretti, recognized internationally as one of America’s leading conductors.
