Well, the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2016 came to an end, Sunday March 20th. It was absolutely a great show. It looks like each year the show gets better. Even when it was a bit rainy at times during this Sunday, organizers reported that more than 50,000 people attended the event’s grand finale.
Many boats and yachts enthusiasts from all over the country and worldwide come to West Palm Beach to participate in a show that displayed more than $1 billion worth of yachts, boats and accessories from the world’s leading marine manufacturers. The Palm Beach International Boat Show in 2016 included hundreds of boats – superyachts of about 300 feet, small inflatables, tenders, center consoles and sportfishers.
The event that took place from March 17 through Sunday, March 20 along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, continues to be fan’s favorite. A new pier at the northern end of the show, within Palm Harbor Marina, was introduced this year. The new in-water space added an additional 30 slips to accommodate yachts up to 280 feet.
