The Norton’s popular weekly program Art After Dark at the Norton Museum of Arts is where culture and entertainment meet! The event offers an eclectic programming, including exceptional music of all genres, captivating conversations with curators, docent-led tours, art activities, film, dance, wine tastings, chef demos, and much more. All activities and performances.

Art After Dark draws dozens of people to the museum for a variety of activities, tours, and culinary treats each Thursday night. Bring your family, make new friends, and have a great time!

6:15 PM/ Gaugin’s Christ in the Garden of Olives

Performs theater tunes from the ‘20s and ‘30s with a jazz sensibility.

6:30 PM/ Lecture: Whitney at War: Healing, Death, and Memory in the WWI Sculptures
By David M. Lubin, the Charlotte C. Weber Professor of Art, Wake Forest University.

6-8 PM/ Art Workshop: Clay Modeling Workshop
Make a clay sculpture inspired by Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney: Sculpture. Led by teaching artist Josh Davis.

7:30-8:30 PM/ Live Music: Sonny Daye Trio (set two)

Until 8:30 PM / Cash Bar, featuring a Signature Cocktail each week!
