Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fairgrounds

Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fairgrounds is a year-round attraction. An old school, a farm, a blacksmith shop, a general store, and several houses among other buildings; they all make up the historic & fascinating Yesteryear Village. This is a unique opportunity to chat with the town residents, and listen as they tell you what their daily life was really like prior to 1940!

This is a history park nestled on 9 acres, showcasing buildings and artifacts from 1895 to 1945. Discover a large collection of early, original and replicated buildings including the only big band museum in the United States, the Sally Bennett Big Band Hall of Fame Museum.
